The Blood Reign III (Final)
River of Blood River of Love From the Earth came the flood Seeping up from the ground Enough blood one could drown A baptism amidst the red mists Our only protection from the abyss When the waters came Most were washed away Where they stood in shame Now a river lay In the days of Noah It had yet to rain In these last days A flood again came Half of His bride fled on sight The other half He held tight She felt the ooze seep up from below Up through her toes, to her knees and up to her nose A baptism to drown her flesh A resurrection from the abyss A radiant bride raised to life in Him Jesus, her precious prize, leading them The sky split like a scroll, it rolled away From heaven's innards came the Calvary of which we wait Piercing the red mists they rode: the Great Cloud of Witnesses Beyond them far ahead rode the King, Faithful and True, who led The Latter reign and the Former reign came at once! The Children played in flood waters The women danced in the reign The men wept tears of joy Together they all sang Hosanna in the Highest! Hosanna in the Highest! Let our Lord reign! Let our Lord reign! Let the never-ending Blood reign rain!
