Cloudy Days
[A Poem]
Do you stay
For the cloudy days?
the days most would throw away
Would you stay
On a cloudy day?
The days most wish would go away
I don’t wait for you
You wait for me
We wait
For the rustling
In the Mulberry trees
For when the time is right
And your lightning strikes
Your wind will come rushing in
Your light
And your life
Will come rushing in
Do you hate the wait?
Doesn’t it feel like a weight?
Waiting
For us
To see you
For you,
A thousand years is like a day
And a day is like a thousand years
How long will you wait for me to know you?
By your grace,
I stay
By your mercy,
I don’t go astray
I’m waiting for Me to know you,
To see you,
To hear you,
To love you,
To have faith in you.By: Kelsey Heirloom
