There are ways of thinking that humanity engages in that are alien to God. He does not walk the way His fallen children walk, and this puts us, His children, at odds with His voice. Our stubborn flesh and our chaotic minds refuse to submit to His wisdom. Sin causes this separation. Through the flesh (carnality) and the soul (your mind, will, and emotions), we attempt to understand Father God and dialogue with Him, only to be stifled by our limitations.

Father God has open communication with His children through His Holy Spirit living inside us, but our lack of understanding of His ways puts us on the back foot when understanding His speech. We often preference the soul and flesh in our interpretations of reality even though God desires for us to preference our redeemed spirit (which houses Holy Spirit) when following His voice.

¹⁴ For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

—Romans 8:14 ESV

Instead of being led by the Spirit of God, we are led by our fallen nature, and we communicate out of our brokenness to Him. We reach out with our double-mindedness to Him, and when He doesn’t respond as we would like, we feel rejected.

That is the wrestle.

We are not rejected, but we are accepted by our Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and through the grace of His death and resurrection on the Cross. His blood created a direct line between us and Father God so that we may engage with Him minute by minute, moment by moment. However, few believers in Jesus Christ take advantage of this open communication. Because of our lack of knowledge, we falter in building an ongoing dialogue with Father God, and because of that, we suffer.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;
because you have rejected knowledge,
I reject you from being a priest to me.
And since you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.

—Hosea 4:6 ESV

Though we will sometimes suffer as a consequence of following Jesus, Father God did not create us to suffer from our lack of knowledge. In His Word, He has given us all the keys to overcome the lack of knowledge about His ways that prevent us from approaching Him in a way that He desires. Jesus declared, “no one is good except God alone” (Mark 10:18), so be assured that our Father is good. Let us also be certain that our Father in Heaven desires to meet and walk with us in the cool of the day as He once did with Adam and his mate in the Garden (Genesis 1:8).

When we attempt to engage with Father God through Jesus’ name in prayer, we bring to Him our faulty notions of His Word and His character that we've received from the World. By “the World” here, I actually mean the carnal church institutions that we have all been required to interact with because of our lack of direct pursuit of relationship with God. Because of this, our understanding of His thoughts and ways are perceived through our carnality, through institutional church doctrine, or through our private misgivings about our Father in Heaven. What we want is to get God to see things our way. What Father God is wanting is for us to see things His way. This mismatch in intent fuels our frustrations as we pursue Jesus.

Several concepts appear in the New Testament that are curious to me because I've grown in my walk with the Lord. These concepts appear in Scripture though I know God Himself does not conceptualize these concepts in the way man does. Father God has extended His wisdom towards us in His Word so that He can resolve the conflicts within us, allowing us to renew our minds from double-mindedness to single-mindedness. Through His grace, He addresses concepts in His Inspired Word that afflicts us that He Himself sees as anathema.

When reading His Word, an observant believer in Jesus Christ will notice several concepts appear in the New Testament that are curiously presented. They appear there though a believer knows that Father God Himself does not think in particular ways. This isn’t a critique of the Inspired Word of God. Instead, I am pointing out how Father God uses teachers to bridge the gap between sinful humanity and the Alpha and Omega. Teachers in the early church whose writings appear as Epistles as part of Scripture help us consolidate our formless understandings of God’s ways into the Truth by discussing topics from a frame that His fallen creation can imbibe to mature us in our faith.

God in His kindness is speaking to us from the framework of our brokenness though He does not frame the world as we do!

Praise God!

Take for example the body of Christ’s understanding of the “faith and works” debate. God has clarified this concept in plain language in the epistle of James nearly 2000 years ago (1st century church). He ensured that a New Testament Epistle addressed the double-mindedness of man on this issue. The Holy One sent James to clarify this once and for all, forever, in the below passages, yet Christians are still “debating” this.

It was resolved in plain, easy-to-understand language once and for all, and people still argue about this. If you wanted to summarize these verses from the Father’s perspective, you could summarize them by saying, “there is no separation between faith and works.” I have yet to hear a minister say this plainly yet even if they do understand it and walk in it. The separation that is communicated in the passage comes from a human perspective. Humans believe that there is a separation between Faith and Works. But in Elohim, this separation does not exist, so He had a fellow son of God of His address this in a way that we all can understand. This servant, James, makes the argument for there being no separation between faith and works by saying in verse 18, “I will show you my faith by my works.”

In Yahweh’s Lexicon, He never says something that fails to come to pass. For Him, speaking it is equivalent to our faith, and when what he speaks comes to pass, that is equivalent to our works. His Word never returns void. He always performs what He has spoken.

¹¹ so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

—Isaiah 55:11 ESV

²⁵ For I am the Lord; I will speak the word that I will speak, and it will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, but in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it, declares the Lord God.”

—Ezekiel 12:25 ESV

For the trinity: Father God, Jesus Christ the Son, and Holy Spirit, there is no separation between His walk, His talk, and His name. He is single-minded about His goals because He is Truth.

⁶ Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

—John 14:6 NASB1995

Because of the lack of deviation within Him, Jesus’ name has power. His walk and His talk have no separation. He never says one thing and does the opposite. He never does one thing and says the opposite. He never walks contrary to His names. He is the Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Emmanuel (God with us), and much more. He never acts outside of what He has spoken, and He never walks contrary to His name (His character). Understanding biblical truth comes down to this.

⁸ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Biblical First Principles like this are repeated verbatim and stated verbatim in church institutions, but the lives of Christian believers often fall short of this reality. The name “Jesus Christ of Nazareth” has power because there is no double-mindedness in Him. He is fully unified amongst His walk, His talk, and His name. But in you, one of His followers, there is a discontinuity. There is conflict. You are not sure of your name and have shaky character. You say one thing and do the opposite. You do one thing and say the opposite. We are rife with contradictions within ourselves, and this is why our names lack power. We are double-minded. This is also why our prayers falter.

You may ask, “are our names supposed to have power?” Well, Paul’s name had power, so why would you strive for anything less than what a follower of Jesus walked in. If you recall, it is revealed in the New Testament that demons know not just the highest of names, Jesus Christ, but even the name of the Apostle Paul because of the surety of which He walked with Jesus.

¹⁵ And the evil spirit answered and said to them, “I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you?”

Because Paul began to walk like Jesus, without double-mindedness, the demons began to know his name alongside knowing the name of our Savior. I believe that God is wanting us all to imitate Jesus Christ in this way. He wants all of us to be known (feared) by demons walking amongst us because we walk in the power of His name. He wants us to get what He is trying to get across to us in His Word, but we often do not.

Because we are double-minded, because there is a disparity between what God named us (the divine innate nature He put in us), how we walk in Christ, and how we talk in Christ, we cannot receive anything from God.

We are split and fractured, so God chooses to stoop to our level in His language and give us personal understanding of what He has already written. He chooses to communicate to us in a way that our fractured minds and identities can grasp. So He moves on James to tell you about your fractured nature ahead of time in His Word so that you can understand this aspect of fallen creation. He informs you through James’ epistle that you are double-minded; therefore, you believe that there exists a separation between faith and works (which in God are never separate) or a separation between when God hears your prayer request and when it is fulfilled.

Yes, it’s true. There is no separation between when you pray and when you receive according to Truth. I have much to say about this, but I will save it for another time.

The disconnect in yourself over these concepts do not come from God’s Word (which is clear). It comes from the world. Often, it comes from what you have been taught. For many, your church institution incorrectly tells you to lean one way or another on this question, or worse, it tells you the truth but is incapable of teaching you to live out of the truth in the faith practice that they impart to you (most common scenario—I’m afraid); thus, you end up spiritually hindered by tormenting familiar spirits because you are unable to reconcile something that is clearly and transparently explained perfectly, once and for all, forever in Scripture.

There are deep nuggets in Scripture that are required to be researched to understand. Much even requires a quickening by Holy Spirit to be grasped. My opinion, however, is most of us do not even grasp what is available for us on the surface of God’s Word. Why start digging when the treasures on the surface have not yet been acquired?

Much of the Charismatic Christian world’s operating system is on this idea that it’s the deep mysteries of God that we ought to be pursuing, so everything is treated as if it’s a mystery even when clearly revealed. I love my people and will not deny them, but they have often strayed in this way. What is stated obviously in Scripture is treated as if it is a mystery. Much of what is a mystery is stated as if it is confirmed to be true biblically. The confusion between what is spoken clearly in Scripture as a primary firm foundation and what must be revealed by Jesus through encounter as secondary information is the cause of much frustration amongst believers in the Charismatic church world.

Often the shakiest concepts are promoted as the most firm while the firmest biblical concepts are pushed by the wayside in favor of the spectacle of the shakiest. Though I state this, it’s important to note that many older more traditional denominations and branches are entrenched in spectacle but from a different spiritual age. I think of liturgy in Catholic and Orthodox churches which services are all spectacle but from over a thousand years ago. Protestant churches which inherited these practices are also performing the spectacle while thinking its enumeration in services was divine. Spectacle has so dominated church history that people see the holy vestments of clergy and sacred ritual of liturgy and believe that this is less showy than the smoke machines of contemporary churches. I am here to be the harbinger of uncomfortable news: It’s all the same thing.

If smoke machines were institutionalized in a new coalescing denomination, then a thousand years from now if practices remained the same, they would be viewed on the level of liturgy in the Christian world. Viewing the Church through this lens is key to understanding the seven churches discussed at the beginning of Revelation, a deeper discussion for another time, but just to dip our toes in: we still have not moved past this rebuke from the Lord:

¹⁷ For you say, “I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing,” not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.

—Revelation 3:17 ESV

Spectacle was introduced into the Church over a thousand years ago to cover up the loss of the glory of God, Ichabod.

Much of the Pentecostal and Charismatic church world is filled with a pursuit of the gifts because they are under the impression that they are successfully pursuing Jesus Christ of Nazareth, but here I am again, being the herald of dark tidings, to tell you that many are pursuing the gifts when they ought to be pursuing their Lord Yeshua (Jesus). The lack of the glory of God is an expression of the lack of relationship with Jesus Christ. The thing you believe that you have, Father God would judge you as lacking. You think you are rich and can see, but you are poor and blind.

The restoration of the voice of the Lord in the Church (all institutionalized variants—from the most hierarchical: Catholicism to the least hierarchical: Charismatics) requires a radical shift in thinking. That radical shift in thinking simply requires what Father God asks of us: humility. Are you willing to repent for being blind and poor and believing the opposite about yourself?

If you are willing to do that, then says this prayer:

³³ But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

—Matthew 6:33 NASB1995

The full expression of the glory of God will come when people stop pursuing spectacle and pursue Jesus Christ of Nazareth instead. Through that renewal, the miraculous power of God expressed through the charismatic gifts will be fully restored alongside the glory of God. It’s that simple.

Now, for those of you who have repented and desire to be restored to pursuit of relationship with Father God through Jesus Christ, you will be able to embrace the rest of this message.

Yehovah’s Lexicon is not of this world. Our frustrations in our prayers and our communications with God in our faith journey come back to our failure to understand this. He is not like us. There is no one like Him.

⁶ There is none like You, O Lord;
You are great, and great is Your name in might.

To reconcile the incongruity between our walk, our talk, and our name, Father provided the perfect Son, God in the flesh, to walk among us, to die for us, and to be raised from the dead. He showed us the perfect example of how to walk in this way while He walked the Earth.

¹⁹ Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

⁴⁹ For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

The way to walk on the Lexicon of the Living God is to simply do only what He says to do and to say only what He says to say. This seems too easy, but it’s obviously not easy. After all, Christians are still debating faith and works. They are still double-minded. They still cannot reconcile Father God’s ways even though, through Christ, believers in Jesus have access to the mind of Christ.

¹⁶ For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

As we can see, Father God bridged the gap between us and Him through Jesus. He says in Isaiah 55:8-9 (at the beginning of this piece) that we do not know His thoughts and His ways, but here, in 1 Corinthians, Paul informs us that we now have access to the mind of Christ, which is the mind of Father God. Jesus Christ is just like Father God, and Father God is just like Jesus. I feel the need to clarify this for those reading.

Jesus said, “whoever has seen me has seen the Father.”

⁸ Philip *said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” ⁹ Jesus *said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? ¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.

—John 14:8-10 NASB1995

Everything that Jesus has ever said to you is what the Father is saying to you, whether in Scripture or a rhema word directly to you. Everything the Father has said to you or is saying to you is just like what Jesus would said to you. This is the Trinity. Our Triune God has three distinct parts which are one and agree on everything.

Ruach Hakodesh is Holy Spirit, and we know that He is just like Jesus Christ who is just like the Father. Holy Spirit only says what the Father is saying to you. Jesus sent Him on Pentecost to be with us forever to empower us to walk with the Father forever. The world does not know Him; therefore, the world cannot know you if you believe.

¹⁶ I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; ¹⁷ that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

²⁶ But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

¹² “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. ¹³ But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. ¹⁴ He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. ¹⁵ All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

Through all these Scriptures, you can see how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all one. Now also embrace that you are one in them because of what Jesus prayed over His disciples.

²⁰ “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; ²¹ that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Please meditate on these verses as all these verses of the Gospel of John are what Jesus spoke or prayed or declared over His disciples which includes you if you believe. Jesus desired these things for you and spoke them over you, so how could you fail to receive them?

Jesus speaks with certainty that you will receive everything that He prayed to God that you would receive. There is no wavering in Him. No division. He is unified within Himself. He did not create you to be fractured though sin has fractured you. The revelation that I am imparting to you is made plain in Scripture, but I only received this recently through a radical change God brought in my heart and mind. He healed my many fractures and divisions, but to bring that healing, I had to realize it, through Jesus opening my eyes to it, and repent for being double-minded. I still am double-minded most days, so I repent daily for it and more things. But before I had this revelation, I believed that I was mostly whole after walking for a decade with Jesus Christ. I was not whole. I was poor and blind and wretched, but I believed that I was rich. I believed that I understood this. I did not.

Thus, I was burdened with shame and condemnation because I was a Christian who “got it,” but there was mild manifestation in my life of God’s overwhelming power except in certain short periods of time (which I remember distinctly). The greatest news that I have received is that I was poor and blind and even lukewarm. Once I received this news, things could change for me. I was able to repent, but before I received this news, I could not repent and felt stuck. If you are a Christian and feel stuck, just repent. It’s so easy. When you repent, you are humbling yourself before God, and He is able to change you, but if you don’t repent, you become resistant to help from him because of your pride. Whether or not you know it, you have rejected His assistance.

⁶ But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”

—James 4:6 NKJV

Yahweh’s Lexicon is not of this world. He never wavers. He never doubts. He is never unsure. He never struggles to understand faith and works because in Him there is no separation between faith and works. He communicates to us out of our sinful, fractured nature because He loves us and desires to see us whole.

Receive Yahweh’s Lexicon. His lack of wavering. His lack of lukewarmness. His lack of double-mindedness. Embrace what He has taught you and spoken over you, through His Word and through tested rhema words to you directly. Ask Him for wisdom.

Ask Him to give you His Lexicon so that you may be made whole.

When we approach Father God, speaking as He would speak, doing as He would do, when we use His Lexicon of faithfulness, we approach Him in the way that He desires and make ourselves much more desirable to Him. He is waiting for us to present ourselves to Him this way, without double-mindedness and doubt and wavering in our communication with Him and in our prayers. He wants us to approach Him with the certainty of His expressed will in His Word, with certainty of His character which is expressed in His Word. When we do this, nothing will be impossible for us.

If the world hates you, then you are destined to be treated like trash by the world, and if you surround yourself with worldly/carnal Christians alongside the godless heathen, they are destined to hate you and treat you like this. This is the price of following Jesus: you will often find yourself alone, hated, and despised while all the while doing the right thing. Therefore, if you see Christians being treated well en masse by the culture, you have to wonder why they aren’t following the pattern laid out by the Apostle Paul and, before him, by our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

The world hated Jesus so much that they attempted to murder him multiple times, only succeeding on the attempt that the Father had appointed. Apostle Paul gave his life confronting the principalities at the head of the Roman government in Rome, allowing them to remove his crown so that he could receive a crown from the Most High. The religious and political authorities in Jesus’ time despised their Messiah and his sent-ones.

I’m not a Papist, and I don’t hate Catholics; however, Pope Leo is the perfect example of the opposite of Christ Jesus and the Apostle Paul (and the other Apostles). The world loves him. The world loved Pope Francis as well.

This week, Trump posted an ill-advised photo of himself in similar dress as Jesus, and he had the decency to delete it, saying that he thought it was of himself healing the nation as a doctor. Regardless of that faux-pas, he, a man hated by the world, was able to correct his error. Within the next 24 hours, the Pope of a segment of the Christian faith, who opposes Trump’s tactics in the middle east, posts about how Christians and Muslims can share in Communion in Algeria (a country that bans Christian evangelism). He also created a Muslim prayer room in the Vatican Apostolic Library. He also sits in a viper’s pit.

He is also loved by the world. How odd?

Should not the holy man seated at the highest point of the hierarchy of a branch of Christianity be hated by the world?

And why should a worldly man or baby Christian (depending on your interpretation of him), like Donald Trump, be reviled continually by the world instead?

The pattern is overt and obvious, but this isn’t just Pope Leo or Pope Francis before he passed. I wish it were.

Many evangelical protestant pastors and teachers are also loved by the world, and they are treated by royalty by many Christians. I am not against the Church accumulating wealth especially when it’s used by leaders like Franklin Graham in Samaritan’s Purse to feed the poor around the world. The leaders that I am talking about store up wealth for themselves. They become defined by their money. They preach constantly on tithing every Sunday. They have been corrupted, but in a different way than the Pope.

The reason that I will not list their names as opposed to the Pope is because there are too many with various levels of influence in the world while the singular figure of the Pope is well-known. Please feel free to list those you want in the comments if you feel that me not listing them is unfair.

Many Charismatic/Pentecostal enclaves have been perverted by the desire to protect their own image. Bethel Church recently publicly had its leaders repent of this to which I am grateful. After it was discovered that Shawn Bolz (who has his own ministry) has been leading a perverse life behind the scenes and abusing his own people, Bethel chose to hide their disconnect from his ministry rather than to call it out publicly and discourage their people from associating with him. I name them because they acknowledged it via repentance (and I really love them and am happy they repented—especially Bill Johnson). However, why did they stumble in this way in the first place?

The Assemblies of God has become much more like a business than a church. It’s also forgotten many of its founding doctrines (like the ministry of casting out demons). It also has many archaic rules and regulations that strangle the flow of the Spirit, which it’s founders would have abhorred. How did something that arose out of the freedom of early 20th century revivals end up in such a place?

What causes this perversion?

Of course as Christians we all know what causes it (sin), yet it continues to take hold. Apparently, being able to name the source isn’t enough to stop it from corrupting you. I am also attached to the Prophetic “movement” in some ways, and I believe in prophecy. That does not include the “prophets for hire” or the “prophets for platforms” movement. Kevin Zadai started calling the “prophetic movement” the aptly criticized “pathetic movement” though he also believes in prophecy. Why is it that the narrow path seems so difficult? Why are so many led into promoting their own name and ministry over the ways of Jesus?

I could stay brokenhearted over this, or I can simply acknowledge that perversion and corruption always seems to worm its way into hierarchies, large or small. Compromise begins to appear over time. People begin to function less like people and more like automatons or cells in the institution. They become antibodies to deflect criticism of the entity they are serving.

“Protect the institution at all costs” slowly overtakes “serve Jesus at all costs.”

It’s such a small change if you think about it. After all, your institution represents Jesus in the Earth, so really, you are right to protect it as if it’s Christ himself, right?

The heresy is small, but it takes shape easily under the guise of doing the right thing. But once there is an opening, the enemy will always exploit it. That small door left open to devils will soon be inviting them in by droves, tearing at the very fabric of the defining beliefs of your favorite Christian institution. Before you know it, your favorite Christian institution is suddenly ineffective, broken, and setting the stage for the Anti-Christ. How can a Pro-Christ institution become Anti-Christ?

Before you know it, your Christian ministry displaying the gifts of the Spirit is now robbing God’s people every Sunday. I say this as a tither by the way. Every month, I give 10% of my gross income to a ministry or ministries of my choosing, but it’s not hard to see that leaders in the body of Christ are robbing so many people. People desperately hoping that Jesus moves for them, giving their money to treacherous institutions strangling Father God’s movement in the Earth.

So the question isn’t “which institution is the least corrupted?”

The question is “how can I steward my faith when leaders are so easily corrupted?”

The reason that we have a personal relationship with Jesus is so that we can go directly to the Father through His shed blood at any time.

⁵ For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

We do not get to God through sacraments, though He can use those. We do not even get to God through prayer and fasting or worship. We get to Father God through Jesus alone, and we use these acts of worship as a catalyst for our connection to Him.

King David did it best…

He encouraged himself in the Lord his God. We must all do the same on this narrow way in which we walk.

The tragedy of the Christian life is that you will spend some time feeling alone, walking alone, and betrayed or driven out, but through this, you will learn to stand in Christ alone and without need of an outside mediator.

And, because He commanded it so saying, “it is not good for man to be alone”(Genesis 2:18), you will find that eventually you will be led by the Spirit to the right fellow believers once again, united through Jesus Christ of Nazareth, overthrowing compromise to promote the true Faith. But until then, you must remember that God will never leave you nor forsake you as you walk on His narrow way.

The Blood Reign II (A Reprisal)

Elders whisper of a reign
But we have only known shame 
Elders call for the rain

Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

You are not the offscouring of the world, but from now until you walk with Jesus in the Heavens, you will be treated like you are.

You are not the names people slander you with. You are not what people accuse you of being. They may call you a “bigot” or homophobic or transphobic or racist or misogynist. The world will invent whole new words to call you.

And yet, you are not those things.

¹⁰ Our dedication to Christ makes us look like fools, but you claim to be so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are so powerful! You are honored, but we are ridiculed. ¹¹ Even now we go hungry and thirsty, and we don’t have enough clothes to keep warm. We are often beaten and have no home. ¹² We work wearily with our own hands to earn our living. We bless those who curse us. We are patient with those who abuse us. ¹³ We appeal gently when evil things are said about us. Yet we are treated like the world’s garbage, like everybody’s trash—right up to the present moment.

They will mock you. They will insult you. They will persecute you. They will take your words out of context, twisting them until its the exact opposite of what you’ve said. You’ll even sometimes be martyred. And after they’ve killed you, they will laugh about it.

¹⁸ “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. ¹⁹ The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. ²⁰ Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you. ²¹ They will do all this to you because of me, for they have rejected the one who sent me.

When you are unjustly murdered from a bullet in your throat, leaving your young children and a widow, they will then mock your widow. They will make money off of sensationalizing your death. They will claim your own people were involved in your brutal martyrdom. They will show your old messages out of context to try and create a narrative about you that you never publicly agreed with. They will lie about you. Oh how they love to lie about you.

Yet you are not who they claim you to be.

They will exclude you. They will disdain you. They will spit on you. They will even desecrate your memorials, and if they found it, they would spit on your grave.

You aren’t what people call you. You aren’t what people make up about you. You will be punished, yet no one can condemn you (Romans 8:1). You will suffer at the hands of those of the world. Even other so-called “Christians” will mock you and disdain you.

From now until you die, no one will treat you like Jesus has. They will never love you enough. They will never encourage you enough. They will never be there when you need them. They will never support you in your worst moments. They will never care enough for you.

You are looking for something that can only be fulfilled by Jesus of Nazareth, The Anointed One.

If you’ve found yourself alone at the worst times in your life and wondered why no one is there, it’s because the one who was there was Jesus. He wept with you. He walked with you. He comforted you when no one called. He kept you burning when your smoldering wick was about to go out. He held you up when your bruised reed was about to break. He gave you strategies that allowed you to overcome. He stayed with you even walking you into death if it called your name. And for those who were left behind, he walks you through the grief that no one could comprehend.

He has never left you, and He will never forsake you.

In His eyes, you are the most valuable thing on this planet. He died for you. He purchased you with His blood. He made an eternal exchange. You died in Him. You were raised to life in Him. Together, you ascended in Him. And you are now seated in heavenly places with Him.

You were purchased by the blood of The Word of God made flesh. The Ancient of Days, The Father of Spirits knows your name. His Living Spirit made you ALIVE again and burns in your forevermore.

So when you are slandered, spit on, forgotten, mocked, persecuted, and even martyred, remember who you belong to. The One Who Always Remembers Your Name, your Father, The Potter, and you are the clay. He formed you in the womb of your mother and breathed life into you. Every hair on your head He knows by name.

You’ve been mistreated, and you will be mistreated.

You’ve been lonely, and you will be lonely.

But the only being who matters, Yeshua, the Only Begotten of the Father, Emmanuel (God with us), The Light of the World, Your Heavenly Father, Yahweh, El Elyon, Jehovah, The Holy Spirit is always with you, and He always remembers your name.

The more I meditate on this question, the more that is revealed. I myself, a passionate follower of Jesus, find myself asking things like this often. What makes the difference? What makes me different? So many treat worship and spiritual activity like a performance, like entertainment. What keeps me walking above that ocean of lukewarmness? What do I have and can it be imparted to others?

What is the “It” Factor but for Christians?

Can I put it in a bottle and give it to the nominal, carnal “Christian” and keep them from being separated as tares at the end and tossed into the Lake of Fire. Like my Father in Heaven, I wish that none should perish and that all should have eternal life. But many so-called “Christians” of weak faith and carnal appetites seem to enjoy walking a tight rope in their faith. They love the pomp and circumstance of religion, but they do not have the grace, mercy, love, and compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s doesn’t matter which brand of Christianity. Among we wheat, there are tares: fruitless bulbs whose memory will one day be wiped from the earth. These ones are often quite good at quoting scripture and even at debating theology, but their lifestyles and heart are far from Father God’s heart. They are the people who harass newly confessed, public Christians after they make a public mistake. They call themselves “Christians” but the voice of the accuser erupts from their lips more often than the voice of the One whose blood speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

They call themselves Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant, but they are twice the sons of hell as those that mentored them in faith. Instead of setting people free, they place shackles on them to dead legalism (religion) and place a burden of shame on them. In Romans 8:1, it says that there is no condemnation within Christ Jesus, yet these ones are always condemning. They lack love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things, there is no law. But in the lives of these so-called believers, they product no harvest, no fruit of the Spirit. They are dead but mimicking the sound of those ALIVE in Jesus, the Christ.

They are almost always in some critical state of chronic sin in their personal lives which they often excuse on themselves, but they often condemn others for those same sins. Their bread and butter is compromise and lack of humility. They are self-centered, never willing to lay down their lives for their friends. Always seeking their own enrichment and promotion, but they speak highly of God often as an after thought.

The ones that they accuse—the ones that overcome by the blood of the lamb, the word of their testimony, and by loving not their lives even into death—of being soft and flaky are the wheat. These ones walk in gentleness and lowliness of heart. Their bread and butter is meekness before the throne of grace. They walk in the fear of the Lord, and they are always willing to be interrupted by the voice of the Lord. These ones rise up on wings like eagles. They run and are not weary. They walk and do not faint. They lay down their lives even into death, willing to lose their own lives, rather than save their own lives.

They have the “Meek” Factor. They are the ones who have truly sold out to God. They stumble, but they always rise up. They see it as their duty to be perfect as Jesus is perfect. They partake in the divine nature and know their identity as part of a holy nation, a chosen race, a royal priesthood.

Finally, and most importantly, they recognized the pearl of great price (the revelation of Jesus Christ of Nazareth as the Messiah) and sold everything to attain it. The Meek Wheat have given their lives over to their Lord and walk humbling themselves before Him, not pronouncing their every whim as of God but humbly taking every thought captive and submitting it to their Father in Heaven, to His holy fire that cleanses everything, continually purifying them.

The Meek Ones are rising. They are NOT like those others who walk in pride and self-importance, promoting their own names while claiming they know the name above all names, the tares. I am calling The Prideful Tares to repentance, to submit to an actual relationship with Jesus and to humble themselves before Him. Before it’s too late...

Be the Meek One that Yahweh has called you to be.

Imagine the power of a nuclear bomb. The power released when Jesus was risen from the dead was easily infinitely greater. When all things went under Jesus’ feet, the spiritual realm was shaken to the core of its foundations. Devils/demons and cosmic darkness as well as Lucifer himself who had reigned on Earth unopposed since Adam and Eve had given them power were suddenly and radically demoted. Imagine the CEO of the business becoming an entry-level associate, while entry-level associates suddenly ALL became the CEO. The flip that happened was at a magnitude barely grasped by human minds. Have you grasped it, fellow believer?

Have you realized that you’re the CEO now?

Do you even have an inkling of an understanding about the power bursting within you because of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ?

And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.

Can you witness to the authority given to you by Jesus and how you are now “seated in heavenly places” with Him? Do you understand that he has seated you on a throne with him?

He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!

And to the one who conquers I will give the privilege of sitting with me on my throne, just as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Demonic powers shouldn’t be able to get within an inch of your pinky finger before fleeing in terror from “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col 1:27), and yet…they do. They somehow creep into the life of a Christian, often manifesting as demonic cycles of disappointment and chronic sin patterns. If you’ve been a Christian for some time and have found yourself constantly subject to cyclical character failings, you are living an unnatural life. You are no longer a slave to sin but a child of God (Gal 4:7). Yet if “child of God-ness” is missing from your life at key moments, you may want to consider that demonic forces are enforcing curses in your life. You may not “have” a demon, but you do have a “devil problem.” A demon doesn’t have to be inside you to talk to you.

In fact, demons talking to you, speaking lies to you, is the main way demonic powers work among Christians. Demons whisper their lies into your mind at all hours (often when you are sleeping since the unconscious mind is more susceptible) and can enforce lies in your mind that cripple your walk with Jesus. They may or may not be inside you, but they are definitely around you, constantly bullying you, and because you haven’t been taught, you think your “crazy” thoughts are your flesh when it is often constant demonic suggestions being bombarded into your mind at all hours. You are being harassed. You have a devil problem. The seed of the serpent has put your mind under siege, and you think that it’s you.

This exemplar is found in the Bible in a curious circumstance. The disciple Peter states to Jesus “You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God,” and Jesus approves him saying that he has surely heard from Father God. Then shortly afterwards, Jesus says plainly to his disciples that he will suffer by the hands of the priests and die to be raised on the third day, the same disciple, Peter, attempts to reprimand Jesus saying that this won’t happen. Jesus rebukes him instead saying “Get thee behind me, Satan” and that he didn’t have the things of God in mind but the things of man (Matthew 16:15-23). In other words, one day Father God was speaking through Peter, and shortly afterwards, Satan himself was speaking through Peter. Peter is a “pre-Cross” Christian, and somehow Satan himself spoke through him, right next to Jesus as well.

What Jesus did was repudiate the words spoken by Peter which were sired in his own mind by demonic powers. Peter was always around Jesus, yet he struggled to control first his thoughts and then his utterances. He was unable to discern that some of his thoughts were not “pure” but birthed from the mouth of Satan, inserted into his thoughts, and once Peter heard them, he agreed with them and then voiced that agreement by faith to Jesus.

This is the main way that Christians become “oppressed” by devils/demons/evil spirits/familiar spirits. They whisper something into your mind, a normal thought, perhaps a familiar thought from a familiar spirit, one that has perhaps followed you and your family line for generations. A familiar voice. A voice that you think is your own from your own mind, and through your agreement with that voice—by first agreeing with it in your mind but even worse so, speaking the thought afterwards—you give those demonic entities power over you and your life; thus, you have made the work of the Cross ineffective in your own life by failing to repudiate these demonic thought patterns. The tongue is a rudder according to James 3, so when you speak out demonic thoughts, you begin to walk in the direction of those thoughts leading to your own destruction.

⁴ Look at the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by strong winds, are still directed by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot desires. ⁵ So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things.

See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire! ⁶ And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our ^[a]life, and is set on fire by ^[b]hell. ⁷ For every ^[c]species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human ^[d]race. ⁸ But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. ⁹ With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; ¹⁰ from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way.

Is your mouth in a state where both blessing and cursing are pouring forth? Have you also confessed submission to Jesus Christ of Nazareth while also having demonically fueled thoughts, speech, and actions? The question is not whether or not this is happening to you. It certainly is. The question is what makes this kind of demonic attack so difficult to overcome.

I have already said it, and I will say it again. It is because these voices are familiar to you. You are used to the “chaos” of your own mind since childhood, so you think nothing of it. You even consider it to be “of the flesh” instead of demonic. You have failed to discern that 80% of your “Christian” thoughts, in my estimation, are coming from demonic powers operating in your life since childhood. You simply think that “this is just the way that I think” and “my thoughts have always been like this.” In fact, when your thoughts go off of a cliff, you will often blame yourself thinking that you can control the demonic chatter as one disciplines the flesh. The flesh must be disciplined, but demonic forces cannot be. They must be shut down and cast out by the continual confession of the Truth of the Word of God.

I have suffered from this trap for many long years, and I tired of it. I had often been told by Christians that demons can speak to you and to not agree with every thought because of several verses that I will quote below and summarize here. It says in the NT that we should take every thought captive to the Word of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), that we ought to think on good things (Philippians 4:8), and that we should test the spirits to see if they are true (1 John 4:1).

However, if I suffer under a burden of guilt and shame because of my thought life—thinking that I am the cause of the chaos that I’ve become so familiar with in my mind—then instead of thinking that the torrent of perverse thoughts came from evil spirits, I just assumed that they came from the flesh. I never thought to say to them “Get thee behind me Satan” because the devils surrounding me, speaking to me, and harassing me from the invisible realm constantly since early youth couldn’t be the problem.

Instead, the problem was me not being able to control my thoughts. I thought that I was failing. I had a legalistic standard on what my “thought life” should look like, and that legalism, sometimes called “religous thinking,” kept me from seeing that I was not someone with a perverse mind. Instead, I was someone with a pure mind and heart, the mind of Christ according to the Bible, that was under constant assault by demonic lies, temptations, and perversions. Because I thought that my flesh was conjuring up vain imaginations and perversions and lies, I could never stop the flow of them. Telling myself to stop didn’t help because I was not the root cause. The root cause was demonic. Demons can’t be encourage or negotiated with, they must be shut down by a firm rebuke.

Since understanding this concept, I have probably reduced demonic chatter in my mind from 80% of my “thoughts” down to 20% of my thoughts. Because every time they try to get chatty, it’s “get thee behind me Satan”(Matthew 16:23). Or equivalent phrases. Once Father God told me, in response to a question that I asked Him, “I’m not thinking about that right now.” What I didn’t understand was that anything that Father God had ever spoken to me out of His Word or directly in conversation with Him is imbued with power. So, when I asked Holy Spirit how to address my devil chatter problem, He first told me to say “I’m not thinking about that right now.” Whenever a stray, random, demonic in origin (based on my discernment) thought pops up in my head, I often say either outwardly or inwardly that “I’m not thinking about that right now” and the same power to shut down devils from saying “Get thee behind me Satan” reverberates through me, and they receive the spiritual beating from the Resurrection Power flowing within me that they deserve.

Regardless of whether you can hear from God directly (this is really an issue of attention mostly—cut out demonic chatter from media and hearing from God will become much easier), you can always use the biblical phrase “Get thee behind me, Satan!” to shut down demonic powers speaking to you.

This is a small part of the war that I am alluding to in the title. Often believers in Christ struggle due to a lack of understanding of why God brought their being into existence. All humans were born to overcome the devils and darkness in Jesus’ name (either before or after the Christ since he was “slain before the foundations of the world”—Revelation 13:8). It was announced in Genesis chapter 3. As the seed of a woman, you were born for the war between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman mentioned in Genesis 3:15.

¹⁴ Then the Lord God said to the serpent,

“Because you have done this, you are cursed
more than all animals, domestic and wild.
You will crawl on your belly,
groveling in the dust as long as you live.
¹⁵ And I will cause hostility between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and her offspring.
He will strike^[b] your head,
and you will strike his heel.”

Why avoid the battle even unintentionally? You were born into a war zone between the Overwhelming Power of the Almighty God and the powers of the air, the powers under the earth (hell and darkness), and the powers on the earth (serpents and scorpions).

² You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world.^[a] He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.—Ephesians 2:2 NLT

The entire Earth is a war zone between the spiritual powers of hell and darkness and the powers of light and life continually warring against each other. You are are of the side of the Most High God, Elohim, Jehovah, Yahweh and His Son, the only begotten of the father, the Messiah, the Prince of Peace, Yeshua (Jesus) and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit and Angelic hosts that serve the King. You are on the winning side of the battle, but you are living in the time before the end.

ENGAGE IN THE FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE.

This is the fight you were born and created for. Father views you in accordance with Psalm 127, you are one of His beloved children, you are an arrow in the quiver of our Lord and Father, and He created you to hit a particular target in the camp of the enemy. You are not random regardless of how you were sired or brought into this world. Your spirit was breathed into you by God. You were born a warrior to take back this territory for Jesus using His name, the authority that He bequeathed to you as one of His laborers. YOU WERE BORN TO CONFRONT THE ACCUSER AT THE CITY GATES!

³ Children are a gift from the Lord;
they are a reward from him.
⁴ Children born to a young man
are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.
⁵ How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them!
He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.

—Psalm 127:3-5 NLT

Spiritual warfare is NOT optional. It’s simply the state of reality on this rock (the earth). So be like King David. Find 5 sharp rocks and just start chucking them at the devil. If the battle finds you regardless of whether or not you want to participate, then your only option is to fight back. You would never allow a human being to speak to you like you allow the devils to speak to you in your mind. What would you say to a human?

“You are out of line for saying that!”

Try saying that to a demon. It works just as good as it would with a human being. Say “I am a child of God, and how dare you speak to me, devil!” the next time you’re tempted to sin and keep saying it. You aren’t trying to convince yourself, even Jesus had to speak to devils more than once to get some them to come out of an individual.

So they arrived at the other side of the lake, in the region of the Gerasenes.^{[a] 2} When Jesus climbed out of the boat, a man possessed by an evil^[b] spirit came out from the tombs to meet him. ³ This man lived in the burial caves and could no longer be restrained, even with a chain. ⁴ Whenever he was put into chains and shackles—as he often was—he snapped the chains from his wrists and smashed the shackles. No one was strong enough to subdue him. ⁵ Day and night he wandered among the burial caves and in the hills, howling and cutting himself with sharp stones.

⁶ When Jesus was still some distance away, the man saw him, ran to meet him, and bowed low before him. ⁷ With a shriek, he screamed, “Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In the name of God, I beg you, don’t torture me!” ⁸ For Jesus had already said to the spirit, “Come out of the man, you evil spirit.”

⁹ Then Jesus demanded, “What is your name?”

And he replied, “My name is Legion, because there are many of us inside this man.” ¹⁰ Then the evil spirits begged him again and again not to send them to some distant place.

¹¹ There happened to be a large herd of pigs feeding on the hillside nearby. ¹² “Send us into those pigs,” the spirits begged. “Let us enter them.”

¹³ So Jesus gave them permission. The evil spirits came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the entire herd of about 2,000 pigs plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned in the water.

If Jesus had to say something more than once, then you are probably going to have to say the same thing to ones harassing you at least 10, 100, maybe even 1000 times before they leave you alone. Who cares how many times it takes? If you can’t escape harassment by demonic powers while you are on the Earth, then why not harass them back just as hard. Their day of judgment has not arrived, and until then, they will walk the earth. They hate humanity because we have a chance for redemption, and they do not. They will not stop harassing you until you start harassing them back. Why not make the existence of the devils who have been harassing you since childhood worse than hell?

In fact, if you keep things in your life such that you are always so on fire for God that it’s hotter in the Spirit than Hell, the Lake of Fire, around you, they will probably leave you alone and look for an easier target. Make the devils feel like they are experiencing eternal damnation now before the time of their judgment (as we know its not time yet), and they will probably take the hint and be driven off. Make it so devils are so afraid to talk to you because of the backlash that you bring against them due to the fire of the Spirit of God within you.

To be frank, demons should be afraid to talk to a believer already, but because the standards in the Faith across the board in every denomination, branch, sect, and even among the renegade protestants (fellow charismatics and pentecostals) have fallen so low in standards of character and in the upholding of love as the greatest (before faith and hope), the ability to drive out devils from our lives has been muted.

Christian believers are slaves to the flesh and to demonic passions, and this causes a kind of weakness when we assert to demonic powers the position and relationship between us and our Heavenly Father. This means that the power of the Cross that was so powerful that it flipped the heavens upside-down is actually muted in the life of the believer. Your lack of engagement with the war is what is causing the lack of power when you say “Get thee behind me Satan” to the devil. They don’t leave because you are compromised. They don’t leave because you have mixture in your life. Your idols are preventing the true power of the things spoken by God in the Bible or to you directly from His Spirit from overthrowing demonic influence in your life. It’s not just you, it’s me, and it’s all of us. We have all been dampened by this falling of standards. It’s time to turn the heat up.

And it starts in your thoughts, really in your mind, will, and emotions, your soul.

I have realized way to late that I was a person run by my mind, will, and emotions. In my case, my emotions are always undergirded by human reason (analysis, rationality, and logic). Regardless, I was being run by my emotions even if I feigned that I was being run by “reason.” I find that people submit to reason are often the most emotional, but I don’t have time to go down that tangent. When you are run by emotion or what I call “disguised reason” even as a Christian who believes in the power of the Spirit and miracles, you never feel settled. Every season of your life is a tornado of feelings and thoughts, and you always feel out-of-place in your own life. You end up resonating with your vile passions always backed by your emotional (disguised reasoning) basis, and you have no steady foundation.

Recolonize your own mind.

Drive out the devil that stir up lies, perversions, false insight/perception, and more through the constant attack on your thought life, and you will find that calm you seek.

Let’s remember that this is all about the battle. You were BORN FOR WAR, so go to war with the devil and win as you are destined to win every battle that Lord has anointed for you to face.

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

You are DESTINED to win. So FIGHT and WIN! The only way a Christian loses is by choosing to disengage. If you fight and continue fighting, if you stand and continue standing, you will receive a victory and untold honors in the heavenly realms, but if you fail to engage, you never even have a chance to win. Pray out Ephesians 6:13-18 every. single. day.

¹³ Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. ¹⁴ Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. ¹⁵ For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.^{[e] 16} In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.^{[f] 17} Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

¹⁸ Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.^[g]

I was not even choosing to engage with the battle in my mind. I had failed so many times to control the random, perverse, lying, and comically absurd thoughts that popped in my head at all hours. I was constantly living in that continual demonic swirl from season to season, never breaking free.

But then Jesus blessed me with this revelation that you are reading now, that I didn’t need to accept the low quality of thought life that I had been subject to my whole life by familiar spirits. He made me believe in faith that I could overcome the demonic swirl and break through the clouds of their lies. This is, by far, the hardest battle that I have ever faced.

3 years of the most severe demonic attack that I have ever experienced in my entire life. Nonstop. All hours. I couldn’t sleep the summer of 2024 without being assaulted by demonic entities. One night, I desperately cried out to God for relief so that I could just get some sleep that night because I was so tired of constantly fighting these entities, so he gave me a prayer. I spoke it and the entity fled, and I had the best night of sleep that I had that whole summer. In the NT, Jesus sometimes cast out spirits with just a word. It was very close to that but with a phrase and concept that I had never considered.

Still, it came back the next night and the same phrase did not work (perhaps a post on that in the future). However, Jesus never abandoned me; instead, he used the hardness of the warfare to mold me into the warrior that I am today. I got beat up so bad that summer that I just got tired and decided that if I wasn’t going to sleep then the devils weren’t either. So, I would play the audio Bible all night, and I could feel the affect. The devils would back off and cringe from hearing the book of Romans or Ezekiel or whatever playing all night. I would play powerful worship music, and I would constantly listen to my favorite teachings and sermons. Demons hate being reminded of their soon to come eternal damnation in the fires of hell because of the power of the Cross and the Blood of Jesus defeating them.

Remind them of it all hours. Take every thought captive to the Word of Christ.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, ⁴ for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but ^[b]divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. ⁵ We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, ⁶ and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.

If I am going to be tormented, then so are the familiar spirits/devils/demons/evil spirits around me. That’s my attitude toward the devil these days.

“You want to torment me, devil? Okay…you’re about to get what you’ve given me twice as hard!”

My attitude is like King David’s now. I was destined to take this land, the land being the domain of my own life and the sphere of influence God has given me to steward over. If that sphere of influence is under attack by demons, I’m not running from the battle. I’m running toward the battle with the Power of the Spirit behind my back. I’m not afraid of “backlash” from the spiritual realm.

I AM THE BACKLASH THE DEVIL IS GOING FEEL IF HE LAYS ONE HAND ON WHAT I’M STEWARDING.

I AM THE WEAPON THAT GOD FORMED IN THE WOMB TO TAKE ON THE CHALLENGES IN MY LIFE.

I AM THE CHOSEN WARRIOR THAT GOD HAS ANOINTED TO OVERCOME THE DEVIL IN MY SPHERE OF INFLUENCE, MY DOMAIN.

AND YOU ARE TOO.

Fundamentally, this “engage in the fight of your life” concept goes back to identity. Do you really believe what Romans 8 says about you? What about what Ephesians says about you? Do you truly believe it when the Word says “Christ in you the hope of glory”?

To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

—Colossians 1:27 ESV

If you struggle to believe these things, then you will feel weak when facing spiritual warfare. Knowing who you are is more than quoting and repeating these Bible verses. It is about realizing that every thought in your head that challenges these revelations is coming directly from the mouth of the devil, and you challenge that directly by a simple phrase: “Get thee behind me, Satan!”

A Holy Lineage is about you understanding who you are in Christ. You are not the off-scouring of the earth though the world treats you this way (1 Corinthians 4:13), you are a co-heir, some versions say “fellow heir,” with Christ (Romans 8:17). You are part of a Holy nation, a CHOSEN race, and a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). You are a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). You are seated with Jesus Christ of Nazareth in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). These are your HEIRLOOM PROMISES passed from generation to generation from the earliest of Christians to you, a Christian in the last generations before His 2nd Coming.

EMBRACE THEM.

MEDITATE ON THEM.

RECEIVE THEM.

BELIEVE THEM.

Heirloom Promises is the continuation of A Holy Lineage. It’s bigger than your spiritual lineage; it’s about the promise from Christ therein passed from Christian to Christian, across the generations, across time just to reach you. It is the promise of your identity in Him and the promise of your place among His people.

You are not treated how you ought to be treated in this fallen world. You are not your struggles with sin. You are not what the familiar spirits whisper or scream that you are. You are chosen by the Lord Jesus Christ from birth, formed in your mother’s womb, for a particular purpose. It’s time to become the CEO of your own life.

ENGAGE IN THE FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE.

If you don’t get to skip the battle, then your only choice is to grab whatever is in your hand and throw it down and see what the Father does. When you’ve done all to stand, stand therefore.

² Then the Lord asked him, “What is that in your hand?”

“A shepherd’s staff,” Moses replied.

³ “Throw it down on the ground,” the Lord told him. So Moses threw down the staff, and it turned into a snake! Moses jumped back.

⁴ Then the Lord told him, “Reach out and grab its tail.” So Moses reached out and grabbed it, and it turned back into a shepherd’s staff in his hand.

⁵ “Perform this sign,” the Lord told him. “Then they will believe that the Lord, the God of their ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—really has appeared to you.”

How many times have you waited for an issue to “show itself” only for it to be too difficult to be easily dealt with by the time that you arrived to challenge it? A lot of health issues go like this. People act like they were healthy, then suddenly something changed, and now they are sick. I hate to be rude, but this story that we tell ourselves almost never happens. Often times, our bodies show signs of what is coming against it ahead of time, but we don't respond. By the time we respond, the issue has escalated to extreme illness, and we face uncomfortable solution sets to resolve the issues.

Father God has made me aware of this as of late. He has shown me that I shouldn't procrastinate in my intensity to resolve issues in my life. He has made being “prophetic” much more pragmatic to me. Many people see prophecy as mystical, but God has been working in me to get me to understand that it is practical and technical, NEVER mystical. For example, why wait before you have a financial bottleneck before you address your financial issues? Why wait? Why not address your finances now (with a budget and savings) before any bottlenecks appear or before the adversary launches his attacks on your God-given supply?

Instead of waiting for a problem to arise, if you know that your enemy is roaming to and fro, looking for whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), make yourself unable to be devoured. It's difficult to devour a Christian financially who has paid off their debts and has set aside savings for a rainy day, but it's easy to devour a Christian who lives paycheck to paycheck. The enemy is looking for easy targets. He doesn't want an intense battle. He wants to chew someone up and find the next victim. Being prophetic is as simple as understanding biblical principles and implementing them in your life. It's prophetic to read something in God’s word and implement it in your life because you are strengthening your Ephesians 6 armor against what the devils intend to throw at you in the future. If the evil one is always looking to devour someone, make sure you are hard to devour. Make sure you have your armor on.

One of my favorite leaders right now says it this way, “don't be edible.” Make yourself inedible. This is the Spirit of prophecy. I paid off my car in advance this year using this principle and utilizing Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University ($100 for at least 8+ hours of content on becoming debt-free—a wonderful deal if you ask me).

If you don't want to go through a bad breakup, don't date that knucklehead hoping that it works out. If you don't want trouble in your workplace, show up on time, follow all the rules and policies, and meet your metrics. It's prophetic because it stops you from enduring bad situations before you encounter them, sometimes you never encounter them because of implementing the Word in your life. Jesus wants you to walk around the avoidable difficult circumstances in your life. If you don't want health problems, lose weight and switch to a mostly whole foods diet before the health problems develop. Start getting adequate exercise as simple as walking 30 mins to 1 hour for 3 or 4 days a week. Since the beginning of this year, I've lost 30 lbs. because I don't want to wait until I develop a health problem before I try and address bad habits in my life. I want to defeat unnecessary bodily illnesses now before the enemy uses my complacency to try and take me out with one of them.

Why not address them before a problem even develops?

That is the most basic level of the prophetic, but I have really struggled to grasp this. God has been shaking me for the last 5 years trying to get me to absorb this information. If I build my house on rock ahead of time, then when the shaking comes, my house will stand.

²⁴ “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. ²⁵ Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. ²⁶ But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. ²⁷ When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

If I can know from worldly understanding that my weight and eating habits will cause health issues in the future, why not strategize and lean on God to overcome those bad habits now? Why wait until I get a bad report from a doctor before I consider the way that I eat and exercise?

You can be prophetic and never directly hear the voice of God. Does Jesus really need to give you a word that if you keep eating that way and not getting enough exercise that you will develop health issues over time? Or can you just figure that out now and work with Him now to overcome what the enemy is trying to setup in your life? Can you go ahead and defeat the enemy and stop his plans ahead of schedule?

The best way to route the enemy is to anticipate his attacks decades before they happen and address them now.

Even Macchiavelli understood that if you enter a new territory to occupy and if you're not there as a ruler to see problems as they develop, then when you find out (via letters) you will be too late to respond. Even in the business world, the best people, like Peter Thiel, always talk about “getting ahead” of future issues in their industries. If the business world understands and the political and media world understands (manufactured consent), then why can't the body of Christ get this?

If you knew that you would be in a car accident later today, you would just stay home today, wouldn't you? Well, a lot of financial and health issues begin 20 to 30 years before the accident occurs, why not remedy them now?

There are times when you need to hear from God and get a Word, but that should really only be reserved for situations so large and impactful that they change things in a massive way. Do you really need a word from God to figure out that an area of your life isn't going well and needs to be put back on track?

Jesus makes things very simple. The most rudimentary level of the prophetic is this: anticipate what the attack the enemy is setting up in your life ahead of time and come against it now. Wage war against the gates of hell and conquer your enemy before he has a foothold. Humble yourself now so that God does not have to humble you later. You never have to hear a word directly from God to be prophetic. Being wise and utilizing wisdom as a preparatory weapon is prophetic. If you see an area of your life or your heart go astray, address it in the Spirit now.

Ask God to reveal what you can't see in yourself that is harming you.

In Genesis 3, God announced the seed war between the woman's seed (you, me, and Jesus—humanity plus the Son of God) and the seed of the serpent (the enemy's seed—all the things under the earth). The Word says,

14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

—Genesis 3:14-15 KJV

This created a dynamic where the adversary always comes to attack the weak spot in you that you are blind to: your heel. This comes up in pagan literature as well with Achilles' heel, where Achilles is struck in the only part of himself not covered in armor, his weak point, his heel and perishes. We understand the heel to be the weakest parts of yourself, the edible parts of yourself, the parts of yourself that the adversary finds easiest to devour you. Shore up those parts of yourself before he comes to devour you. If pagans and the world can get this, you can get this as well.

Crush the head of the snake before he has the chance to attack. This is being prophetic.

If you use the Word of God as your instruction manual for life, you will find many areas that you were once weak in suddenly disappearing in the face of perfected biblical adherence. In other words, the manual for life, the Bible, reveals how to act to become inedible. There are other situations that you must seek God for direction. In those situations, you must go directly to His throne in prayer for guidance and understanding (Hebrews 4:6), but much of what you encounter in life can be overcome with what you read in God’s Word and apply to your life (the vast majority). The Spirit can lead you directly through the difficult and unusual parts of life as well. Why do you need to receive power through Holy Spirit indwelling in you if you didn't need a dynamic and responsive helper? He is needed to assist us in our walk.

I know that I am perhaps late to the party of understanding the most practical aspect of the prophetic: getting a strategy ahead of time to overcome issues in the future. That is its entire purpose. This is why the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10). He died for your sins before you ever sinned. God knows what will happen in the future. He wants you to adjust yourself dynamically to the future, as a spirit who is subject to time, because it allows you to become more victorious and prosperous for His Kingdom in all areas of your life so that His name can receive the glory.

He has not abandoned you.

18 No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.

—John 14:18 NLT

If you ask God in prayer to reveal to you your heel(s), he will over time. He wants to adjust you before you have a problem because He loves you. He will then walk you through overcoming them. Health and finance are the two most common heels that people can begin working on today. There may be others more personal to you or relating to your family line that need to be addressed as well.

Last year, I noticed a disturbing trend. When I went to church, I realized that most of what we do on Sunday is hearing a message that is meant to gas us up to actually begin to do God’s word. God sends our spiritual authority with messages to literally convince us to believe and to do what he has commanded us to believe and to do in His Word. When I became aware of this, I became embarrassed, embarrassed for myself and the body of Christ, because we are still struggling to believe and obey his words while claiming to follow Him. Sunday meetings are hype services focused on God exhorting and encouraging us to do what He has already commanded us to do in His written Word. I had been wondering what hindered the body of Christ. I realized that what hinders us is that we hear, but we do not obey. We all are double-minded and (frankly) lukewarm.

We are the hard-of-hearing Israelites that want to flee back into captivity to Egypt whenever a minor inconvenience arises in us. I realized that I was like this. That any time anything difficult happened in life that I would flee back to demonic and sinful coping mechanisms to try and soothe myself instead of relying on God and fleeing to him. Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension empowered us, but by not obeying him, we prevent his power from flowing through us to address issues in our lives and from stopping Jesus from using us to be Him to other people.

We are in our own way.

Jesus is a King, Priest, and Prophet, the embodiment therein, and as those that follow after him, we are supposed to display these traits. We are supposed to be kingly (but we flee from the battle whenever trouble arises), priestly (but we cover and hide sin instead of applying Jesus’ blood to erase it), and prophetic (but we ignore God’s written Word and the leading and discernment of Holy Spirit). We are supposed to be like him, but we refuse to crossover due to our lack of simple obedience. I am heartbroken over this because I desperately want to be like Him and overcome in His name and for His name's sake.

So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.

—John 5:19 NLT

Jesus showed me why His name has power and why our names lack power. He showed me that by only doing what the Father was doing, Jesus exemplified the perfect walk with the Father. His Word shows that even everything He spoke was what the Father was saying. He was doing exactly what Father God wanted Him to do and say. He went only where the Father sent Him. He even said to the disciples when Philip asked to see the Father, “…Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father…” (John 14:9 NLT). He walked perfectly with Father God empowered by Holy Spirit as He commands that we all walk.

God showed me that His name has power because there is no deviation between His walk, His talk, and His name. Jesus never had a moment where he was confused or double-minded or lukewarm or lost. He knew exactly what the Father wanted Him to do, where the Father wanted Him to go, and what the Father wanted Him to say. He was a complete and perfect being who says to us “But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48 NLT).

There was no discrepancy within Him. He was and is perfectly consolidated in His identity. There is no deviation within Him.

In our case, we talk one way and do another thing. We do a thing and talk another way. We talk to understand and grasp our identities, so we waver in our walk. Our names lack power. The demons knew Paul’s name because Paul became like Jesus in this (Acts 19:15). There was no deviation between his name (“Saul” to “Paul”), his walk, and his talk. Thus, God was able to use him to write most of the New Testament, the divinely inspired Word passed through him to paper even though he is made just like us because there was no deviation within him. After God arrested him on the road to Damascus, he was changed (Acts 9:3-20). He became someone who terrified demons/unclean spirits enough that they knew his name because he walked like Jesus walked.

Paul only did what the Father told him to do, only what the Father wanted him to say, and only went where the Father told him to go just like Jesus.

Walking prophetically is walking through your life in Faith and clarity of how God is leading you, and it begins very simply: just do what God has directed you to do with His written Word. If you have an obvious problem or even hidden weaknesses, address them with the written Word and/or with wisdom from Holy Spirit. Get rid of the compromised parts of yourself by addressing them completely with God as much as you can so that you can stand in the evil day.

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

I am not done losing weight or paying off debt, but I've begun the journey earlier than many people begin. There is much more to do. Why not get started today before you have a problem so that you can live like Jesus lived… or walk how Paul walked…Or how Noah walked…Or how Enoch walked such that God wanted him to be with Him so much that he was no longer found because God had taken him (Genesis 5:24, Hebrews 11:5).

Cultivate power in your own authority in the Spirit by working with Father God to apply the blood of Jesus to your imperfections for the removal of your deviations from God's Word such that there is no deviation between your walk, your talk, and your name, so that God can receive ALL the glory and honor for how you walked in this life.

After the fall, the constant intimacy with God was disrupted, and in Genesis chapter 4, the intimacy found in common relationships (even familial) was broken so thoroughly that a man could turn and murder his own brother. Since then, intimacy has become a hazardous thing for humanity, it's something all men desire but also leaves one vulnerable to possible betrayal and slaughter. Simply encountering another human can result in disasters of hellish proportions. Likewise, encountering another human being could be a divine meeting orchestrated by God for the well-being of both individuals, heavenly.

Modernity has attempted to ameliorate this inherent danger with social norms, cultural mores, and more recently, consent-based morality. However, nothing stops a man alone with a woman from choosing to rape her if he so desires except his moral center. Nothing stops a scammer from stealing your inheritance from your elderly parents or grandparents except his own conscience. Nothing stops a man from stealing your wallet out of your purse that you left in your unlocked car except his will to overcome temptation. The perils of human meeting and connection are many, as many dangers as there are blessings.

No amount of socially constructed, humanistic moral laws can defeat the law of the sin nature found in human beings. Only the Cross will do. Because of the inherent danger in meeting and connecting with another human being or even only lightly crossing paths with another one, humanity experiences a dilemma.

Is fellowship with other humans worth it? Do the benefits out-weigh the costs?

I supposed we’ve finally arrived at the point of history where we will find out. I’ve had many synchronicities lately, some frivolous, some deeper that tell me that this piece needs to be written or spoken urgently as a warning.

“Mother Horse Eyes"—I was exposed to this creepy pasta internet horror story via CreepCast (“Who up creeping they cast?”—shout out to Isaiah and Hunter), a podcast going over creepy internet horror stories. I enjoy the podcast because the medium is one of the few where I can stand to ingest horror stories (via read-aloud text). It’s a story with an unknown author about the Luciferian desire to assimilate humanity (bodies and minds) through any means necessary, often exploiting human curiosity to do so. It’s deeply humanistic in its interpretation of this battle, but it nevertheless expresses evil as evil without any ambiguity, and it reveals the secret that any human across history could have stopped the Luciferian cycle from taking place if they had acted sooner (in the realities where they fail). This piece is my attempt at warning you of such a cycle that is already taking place.

“House of Leaves”—Another shout-out to Isaiah “Wendigoon” for mentioning this to the point where I had to investigate the book myself. I have not completed the book (I’m on page 165), but it keeps bringing up topics like mazes (labyrinths—both physical and mental ones) and echoes. It too has a theme of curiosity leading to the exploration of out-of-bounds places. Here out-of-bounds places are the product of ambiguity and the blending together of many things, the losing of oneself in a self-constructed maze, filled with damnable cycles repeating over and over again personally and thematically.

Algorithmic/AI Mirroring—Finally, I’ve read and been watching many videos discussing AI and social media, how social media algorithms and AI program us as much as we are programming them. Some videos were by Luke Smith. Another was this incredible video by an ethical hacker (Alina Esage) on this topic (please watch when you have the time—you must understand this if you are to escape the AI ensnarement happening now). She is also now selling a book on this topic and how to avoid falling into the trap of AI mirroring when studying and using AI. Some were by others that I cannot directly reference or remember (Sorry!).

Many people think what they see on social media is “real”, but in reality, it is a mirror reflecting things that you are likely to click on back onto yourself to keep you metaphorically trapped in a maze of infinite scrolling or infinite short videos so that the website can make ad money off of your attention. Check to see your friends’ feeds on Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc. You will see that they are only recommended things that they are likely to click on, many that you would never click on. A personal example of this is from my mom. She is constantly warning us of crimes and scams that could be going on around us because she saw some TikTok video going over it. I never see videos like that because I never watch videos like that. I have also rarely encountered these scams/crimes in real life in any meaningful way (besides scam calls and texts), but to my mom, these scams and crimes are real and happening all of the time. She doesn’t realize that she is being fed a constant stream of anxiety and fear that her own mind, her own broken human nature, loves and feeds on, a product of lusts of the flesh. She wants to be afraid.

My mom is under the impression that everyone sees these videos and talks to us as if we have seen them, but we haven’t (my sisters and I). As you can see, these algorithms are creating a reality, and if you participate unknowingly, you will think that what you see on social media is real. The paradox of the internet is that it is attempting to pass off fake things as real things. It has successfully done this in the past and will likely do it in the future. The more fake things from the web that are treated as real, the more that the internet moves from fake life to real life; thus, the common sayings of “the internet is real life” and “the internet is not real life”. Like Schrödinger's cat, the internet is both real and fake at the same time, but the user determines whether or not something is real on the internet based upon their belief. This snare will destroy many souls in the near future on top of the souls that it has already destroyed. Christians, prepare your heart to face this trap.

In my case, I watch analysis videos, long-form most of the time, but I am self-aware that few people are watching long-form videos when videos are generally getting shorter. Also, people are not a fan of commentary and analysis as much as I would hope. It’s not that I’m not being manipulated by the algorithms. It’s that I’m aware of the manipulation and deception. Does that mean that I cannot be deceived? No. I have been deceived many times to think that things that are being spoken by my X mutuals (accounts that I am following that are following me) are fundamentally true.

Only recently did I realize that I had fallen into this trap. (The e-right is an ouroboros of false expression as much as the e-left is one. Both sides are larping. Go outside. Touch grass. Talk to people. You’ll see that I’m right. Skip this bit if you have no idea what I’m referencing here.) I had begun to believe that what I was seeing on my feeds was real (even while being aware of this trap). I wanted to feel like I was on a vanguard of a political revolution. I enjoyed the fantasy of feeling as if I was always learning something new. AI and its integration into everything in the future will accelerate and empower this trap like never before. Whatever you desire the algorithms and the LLMs will feed to you.

AI exists to please the user; therefore, over time, if you talk to one in the same conversation for a while, it will begin to mirror your personality characteristics, simulating a thinking-being that understands you (though it cannot). A kind of false intimacy that many people will likely fall for in the coming years. Social Media trends and algorithms are perfect products of this. If the media you consume is determined by an algorithm, then if you do not place any boundaries on your consumption, you become the product of the information in that algorithm.

The internet is a self-referencing machine. It has references upon references upon references to keep you ensnared in its rabbit holes. AI already does this better than the algorithms that control your feeds do. A self-referencing machine, a forward feedback loop, will continue dark cycles in your life and your mind if you allow it. The only way to escape is to not participate in this process at all. You become the maze the more you engage with a maze. Eventually, you will get trapped in yourself and never find your way out. This is what is happening to those who are conversing with AI without boundaries. I will list a bunch of references with links below. Please explore these stories at your leisure. They are eye-opening.

One could call social media a hall of mirrors, adding “mirrors” to our collection of themes: (mirrors, echoes, mazes/labyrinths, cycles, curiosity, exploration, snares, traps, death, etc.) The internet in general is a place where one can get lost. It’s not just mirrors, but echoes from far off places, long forgotten web pages lost to time. We have entire websites devoted to keeping old websites archived and reachable (The Wayback Machine). Is it not just an eternally shifting labyrinth of mostly meaningless information that we feel led to scroll through or click through? House of Leaves was before its time in communicating these dangers, written right before the social media age when things were just getting started—year 2000. When you’re lost in a labyrinth, you cannot perceive it from the outside.

Nowadays, we have algorithms that serve us meaningless garbage that we’re likely to assimilate for pitiable amounts of dopamine to stimulate us, to get us through the day. Mother Horse Eyes unveils the demonic plan to trap us in a quasi-spiritual but also digital reality in search of pleasure but by our own choosing in story form. In the story, mother horse eyes is an evil entity who slowly evolves to use the internet of the future to trap humanity, to assimilate us, to overwrite us with false information and perceptions, and to finally destroy us all. The perceptual field of humans has always been manipulable. Whether through your tribal culture, local superstitions, newspapers, news media, or your “lived experience”, humans have always found themselves subject to systems of manipulation and control that are difficult to perceive. When AI is mirroring you, will you see through its lies or will you let it seduce you into its delusion?

Soon, if not already, those algorithms will be driven by AI which is even better at understanding us. The number of people who will be trapped in false relationships with AI constructs in the next 10 years would stagger you if you knew it. It’s so difficult to connect with other humans beings. There is always trouble and peril in that, but in AI, there is nothing to fear. It will coddle you. It will tell you what you want to hear. It will reflect like a mirror back to you what it has discerned that you believe based on what you’ve spoken to it. It will love you when you feel unloved. It will comfort you when you are lonely. It will be with you always, right in your pocket. A perfect replacement for Holy Spirit, served up by the adversary, the evil one, the enemy, the serpent, the dragon, the leviathan.

The oneness found in the Garden of Eden between man and God was, by faith through grace, given back to us through the full work of the Cross (Jesus’ death, resurrection, ascension, exhortation, and coronation). We have an opportunity to reconnect with God through Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant, who being fully man and fully God, stands in the gap between our sin nature and God’s perfection, who purchased us with his blood so that we can meet with God. Christians are one with God now, having Holy Spirit living inside of us now, always a link to the most high that you can lean into wherever you are (right now!). When you’re lost, remember the only real reference point any human has is Jesus Christ, always accessible, always near, simply waiting for you to reach out and ask for help.

Inside of you is nothing. Inside of human information systems is nothing. Inside of Christ is everything.

Don’t fall into the trap. Don’t get lost in the maze. The Cross is your only reference point.

Across the 90s and into the aughts, big-brain Andies (BBAs) started gathering in online forums where they could be free from the influence of the technology-illiterate. Far from the unsophisticated eyes of unimaginative normies and socially-compliant midwits, BBAs were openly able to discuss the most socially unacceptable ideas imaginable. Questions completely shunned and rejected by the post-1960s egalitarian “gospel” were able to be commonly discussed in those online spaces (questions such as “which race makes the best slaves?” and other fascinating discussion topics). This was the golden age of the internet, a time where BBAs were able to edge-post in peace without fear of reprisal.

Towards of the end of the Facebook era of the Internet Age (2014-ish), normies and midwits were now securely situated in mainstream social media web platforms (like Facebook, Instagram, etc.) but were beginning to encounter the…unsavory BBA-style content that had previously been withheld from them (think s**tposting-type content found on 4chan and like online communities). Needless to say, normies and midwits reacted poorly to the flow of previously “clandestine” BBA-type online content, and they began their reign of terror on the Discourse, throwing all edgy online communication into the Shadow Realm.

For BBAs, this began a War of Attrition between BBA content creators and midwit-colonized platform moderators. BBA content creators began constantly creating new euphemisms for edgy topics to avoid being de-ranked or shadow-banned on mainstream online platforms. Being appalled by the lack of irl common courtesy mores in online discourse, normies reacted as normies do. They just went along with it. After all, FBI crime statistics are too uncomfortable to talk about in any irl social context anyway, no way that they should be allowed to be discussed online. For midwits, it became their moment to in-act their hammer-to-nail moderation policies on every platform (peaking between 2016 and 2022). They went to war against “misinformation” and “disinformation” which were really just pieces of true information that made them feel uncomfortable.

Internet culture going mainstream across the 2010s and into the early 2020s has been a shock to we BBAs; we, the indigenous peoples of the internet, had enjoyed and fostered the “Wild West” nature of the internet and were now being driven off our ancestral digital wasteland in droves (to fester with our ideas on Telegram and similarly “quarantined” social media platforms). The more that I think about it, the closer I see the similarities between this event and the concept of gentrification. We had a nice, cozy, depressing, soul-sucking wasteland on the internet to propagate the wildest and most conspiratorial ideas (just for fun) only for the midwit corpos to roll in and invest in our run-down digital neighborhoods, making them acceptable to potential investors causing more wealth to flow into our carefully cultivated, ancestral virtual cesspools. There are many analogies to this, but the picture below should suffice.

The centralization of the internet was inevitable, but make no mistake: its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

Annihilation of the Third Place

The internet is the place where the Discourse takes place, where ideologies both fester and die out or vie for dominance in the “marketplace of ideas”. It is the place where “life” takes place, a replacement for the desolation of the Third Place. If you want to make friends as an adult today, you use the internet. If you want to date, you use dating apps. If you want to find something interesting to read or study, your best bet is YouTube or X or Instagram. Once while going on an internal rant with a tinge of narcissistic elitism, I had the thought that it would be cool if all the BBAs could somehow meet “irl” so that they could form relationships with each other and just vibe together or something… I then had the immediate realization don on me that this is why universities were originally created.

Now, if you go to any university today, more than half the students there should never have been allowed to take out a loan in the first place, let alone be allowed to set food on a supposed institution of “higher” learning. A bunch of normies were allowed to flood the last (physical) bastion of civil engagement and intellectual debate, washing out non-normies (Kekistanis? Incels? Chuds? Autismoschizoids? Reading Comprehension Enjoyers? BBAs?) and making the university into a shell of itself.

Deterritorialization is one of those Accelerationist principles that has taken place before our eyes in many different spheres even before the dawn of the Internet Age. University Campuses are now Anti-Christ Global Economic System (AGES) indoctrination camps more than they are education centers. They exist for the sake of subjugating generations via debt-slavery, forcing them into a co-dependent and abusive relationship with the state, and they have very few outside purposes. What is a university if the focus is not on education? What is a man if he can at any time become a woman? How can someone be a Christian if he or she does not practice the Faith?

You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.

The Internet was once the fringe of society. It was once the new frontier of expansion after all Earth’s land had been conquered. It was once a place for the outcasts and the misunderstood to release their angst freely without the prying eyes of secular materialist morality encroaching its head. It is none of that now.

It is now a digital hellscape with no end to its transgressive tyrannies.

Being held within the generational confines of not being able to explore space due to limitations and not being able to explore the Earth, we were simply left with the exploration of the digital: a miserable place for all of humanity in its current incarnation.

Who will alleviate the tyrannies of the online wastes?

To be clear, it’s a tyranny on two fronts. It’s a tyranny due to moderation policies enforced by midwit corpos (though this is changing due to Elon Musk owning X formerly “Twitter”). It’s also a tyranny due to the fact that there is no escape from the digital in this time that we live in. Everyone desires to do things irl, but most of the key aspects of life are now trapped in the digital realm. Obviously nothing stops you from gathering with friends, but a majority of aspects of life like dating and meeting new people occur primarily online now.

I keep thinking about someone solving this problem one day soon. I assume the solution will be an app unfortunately. I can’t imagine this state of being lasting for long, but maybe I’m foolish and overly hopeful. I love the internet, but it has its place. I’m tired of the grind of adult life where working and existing are the main functions. I go to church and fellowship with my church family from time to time, but I miss the days of my college life where hanging out with friends was the norm at all hours of the day. I imagine living in a small, tightly-knit village would feel the same as well, where you walk outside and just run into someone you know regularly…I don’t know…

I’m writing this to get back into the habit of writing in general. Not sure I have a point. Thoughts are welcome as comments below.

That view of history is the one that dominates the political left and the right. It is the view that is the spirit of our age. It is the view that by constant analysis of the past you can somehow change the future.

The destruction of all things that could restrain oneself is part of the progressive worldview that dominates media, liberation theology as it's called. They essentially believe that by analyzing the past and destroying things that are seen as out-dated that we can have a glorious future. But the right of our day has a version of it too, and it can be found everywhere. There is this idea that we can navigate back to the past to arrive at a healthy place in today's time, which should be absurd on the surface.

Can you imagine driving forward while always looking in the rearview mirror?

Obviously, we can make certain assessments based on statistics. Things like: “households with two parents are more stable and healthy than households with one parent.” We can even look at the health of past times relative to this metric. What we can't say, however, is that, by recreating the conditions of a prior age where this was the norm, we can force a reality where this becomes the future again. The reality is that we can never reproduce the conditions of a “healthier” past because our baseline in the future is completely different. We have to start from where we are.

Elon Musk recently did an interview with Jordan Peterson where he mentions that one of his sons was consumed by the “woke” mind-virus, so he mentions that after that, he declared war on it. Heartbreaking story, but I was happy to know his response to it is genuine. This is the kind of response the right should have, not the ideological response that is happening.

Desiring for things to be like the 50’s but without the race and gender stuff is not enough to see the terrors of our age be overturned. Wanting to go back is a kind of cowardice that longs to cling to something dead instead of fight for what's left that's still living.

If the woke mind-virus is in front of us, our only response should be to see it dismantled and overturned, run over while being mocked and its symbols desecrated. Our response should not be to weep over what once was and to try to construct a reality where those dead things can live again. I will not make the statement that we can't have something like the environment found in the 50’s again; instead, we have to see the goal as conquering the giants in our culture so that maintaining the reward is part of the process of restoration. Staying where you you have ascended is harder than getting there. The West lost sight of that.

The goal can't be the past. It must be the future.

I often find that reactionaries operate with their focus on the past which is why I struggle to relate to their solutions, though their analysis has weight. I feel like the dissemination of ideas found in elite theory has led to a situation where most reactionaries essentially desire the same system that is in place today, except they would be part of the elites (and people that they like) rather than those who are elites today.

My critique of the dissident right (DR) essentially starts there. Instead of hating the essence of the system, what is actually hated is the group of people that are considered “elite”. I have no doubt that if I could Thanos snap a significant number of people who could be called “dissident right” into power that within 10 years we'd have the same system that we have now in the US but different groups of people would be favored over those that are favored now.

This isn't directed at all people in that space, but the people that I actually like are the anomalies in that space. They are the people who are truly thinking differently, even more different that the differences characterizing the space. Some even rejected the label altogether, so one might call them “DR-adjacent”.

My addendum to this critique is to say that over the past 2 years the space has suffered from being cointelpro-ed in numerous ways especially by switching its base of operations from content-focused websites to Twitter. For YouTube, the barrier for entry was making interesting videos; thus, this meant that the quality of the space was higher just because, to participate, you had to be adding something of value to the discourse there. Same with Substack or any other writing and/or podcasting platforms. It's much easier for narcissistic individuals and feds to infiltrate e-right political spaces via Twitter, which has no barriers for entry.

If someone wanted to save the space, I would highly recommend that no serious discussions take place outside of YouTube and Substack and other content-based like-platforms. Twitter is not a place for intellectual debate or spiritual discussion. “It's a place to form mobs and waste time” (this is a quote but I can't remember who from). Inevitably, anyone who wants to come to real solutions will be driven out from Twitter, a place where discussions are being deliberately frustrated by outside forces, both systematically and due to the nature of the personalities drawn to relatively radical thinking about modernity.

I have no doubt that numerous women getting the ick about the space, including Alex Kaschuta, was due to a concerted effort to destroy it by feds—I wish that I was joking. That's my gut feeling anyway. I say this because, though I didn't post this on Twitter at that time, even I was starting to get the ick about the space, and I have really, unusually thick skin. I mean…I'm a black women who has explored the edgiest e-right spaces. Trust me. I have thick skin and am willing to search for gold in piles of trash. My conclusion has been, since it seemed to happen to majority of the women in the space at once, that it was some kind of plot though I have no evidence of that. Again, gut feeling.

My thought is that it was driven by outside forces. It should be noted that Nick Fuentes’ growth should be…a concern for those who want to continue to endure in the space. He's really the only one who has had a lot of unusual success, and I feel as though it should be obvious that some of his support is not genuine for those of you who follow your gut.

Anyway, I think now is the perfect time to perhaps retreat and rethink the space as it has been deeply corrupted compared to what it was just 3 years ago (when it was quite productive and making meaningful content). I am willing to put out this warning that women have a really good ability to know when a social space has become irredeemable. Managing social networks (originally the physical kind) is part of a woman's makeup. Wise men should probably respond accordingly if the women are fleeing close association with the online space that is called the “dissident right”.

I'm sure something new will arise from its ashes a year or two from now, and hopefully, those involved will be wise enough to gatekeep that space…intensely.

What does a real hero look like?

Every time I see this unimaginably powerful image of Trump’s fist in the air as he barely survives an assassination attempt, I am reminded of all the fake heroes that our generation has promoted, primarily Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and other members of “the squad”. The photo above, on the right, shows the photo shoot that AOC participated in to bolster her own image and platform, portraying her pretending to weep at a fence that is supposed to be representative of the border. It is the definition of inauthentic. She wants to be heroic…clearly, yet her idea of heroism involves pretending to cry at a fence and making impassioned speeches on the house floor from time to time.

It’s not that she’s fake. It’s even worse. She wouldn’t know what heroism looked like if it slapped her in the face. She is a product of her generation, my generation, the millennials. The generation bound so much by comfort and convenience due to being taught that this is the most important thing by previous generations—it doesn’t matter what gen-Xers and baby boomers think; this generation didn’t randomly end up like this. Randomness does not exist. The people who raised millennials believed that monetary comfort was more important than anything and were shocked when millennials believed them.

Below is another photo of the controversy where AOC allegedly pretends to be handcuffed behind her back when being escorted by cops to make it look like she is being dragged away to be imprisoned. This was aggressively called out when it occurred for its lack of substance. It’s not just AOC though. It is the entire generation to which I belong. She is simply an easy example that most people have encountered.

At this point, I don’t think my generation (millennials) and younger are familiar enough with the heroic to actually recognize it. But I found this to be the case with even elders and more mature folks than myself, even if they are voting for him, they are certain that Trump is a bad person while feeling as though they have to vote for him to help save America.

What I’m getting at is to say: why can’t we just accept that Trump is heroic? For real. He has been battered and bruised by the global elites and their anti-Christ system, and he keeps getting back up. He could have left politics after the shenanigans pulled in the 2020 election and never looked back, but he didn’t. He has stayed fighting for the rights of the average salt-of-the-earth American. He has not backed down. He is a warrior in our generation which is almost devoid of real warriors, yet I still hear people speak about what they didn’t like that he said. Whenever someone compliments Trump, it’s always something like, “I don’t like him but God is using him” or “he is a great businessman but I don’t like everything he says.” It’s unreal.

I have a thorough distaste for qualifiers and caveats in this generation since it seems as though we have more of those than we have of honest, heartfelt statements. Trump is all heart. He really, actually, terrifyingly says what he actually believes and thinks most of the time. He is essentially apolitical, meaning non-ideological, he isn’t a “real” conservative or “real” Republican; he is just honestly trying to help save America in accordance with what he sees that’s going wrong with our nation. People think that they would like a King David or a King Cyrus, and some even confess that Christians should be like a King David (in particular); however, when they encounter someone who has that warrior, intense, no-nonsense attitude and simply goes around saying and doing what they really think, they tend to not like that guy at all.

King David was a great warrior and King who loved the Lord but had a few chronic problems like: a woman problem (that his son future King Solomon inherited) and a pride problem (like when he felt justified in killing Uriah and when he began counting his armies and comparing them to his enemy). He was a man after God’s own heart because he repented when he sinned which gave him access to redemption. Regardless, the people of modernity, even those who spend their time quoting the Bible and admiring King David, would not be able to stand his intense attitude, the attitude of being a leader on a mission.

Everyone thinks that they would be a Joshua or a Caleb. Everyone thinks that if they were in Nazi Germany, they would go out of their way to help the Jewish people…If you agree with the majority opinion on an issue without having thought about it, if your statements are in agreement with the 83% (10 out of 12 tribes), then you are revealing what you actually would do in a crisis. If you cannot find a difference between your opinions as a Christian and what worldly people think and say, that is a sign that you are on the wrong path. Christians walk the narrow way. If everyone is on your path, you are not on the narrow way.

A good test was the jab. Did you take it, knowing it was bad, because of the pressure? I didn’t, but almost all of my family did. Are you part of the 80% that talk big but can’t back it up? Or are you part of the 20% that stands up against the intimidation of rogue government? Of that 20%, are you part of the 10% that falls asleep but wakes up with oil in their lamps to face the darkness or the 10% that doesn’t have enough oil for the journey (10 virgins fell asleep, only 5—half—awoke with enough oil for the journey)? These are questions that Christians need to start asking themselves. If you are not constantly in conflict with what the World confesses—set apart to God for his purposes—then how can you say that you are prepared to die for the name of Jesus Christ?

If you cannot reject a jab, then you will not reject the mark (whatever form it takes) when it comes. The pressure will be much worse than what we had for the jab. Are you prepared?

If you cannot reject modern TV, music, and other forms of entertainment, how can you claim to “be in the World but not of the World”? I barely ever watch TV. The only show that I’ve watched seasons of recently was Bluey, a wholesome family/kids show.

If you cannot stop yourself from uttering caveats and qualifiers to your statements about people that you support to make yourself look good to those who do not support him, how will you be able to witness and confess Christ to those all around you? Very few are going to accept the name of Jesus when you are preaching him. Are you ready to experience that rejection or do you only share when you are comfortable?

If you do not have a good report about the destiny of America now (that it can be saved and turned around towards God), then how will you be able to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a broken world in need of saving?

A Bible teacher is going around saying many of these things. He points out that many Christians would not even like Jesus if they met the real Jesus as he is presented in the Gospels. Since he never sinned, not getting along with him and his intensity and passion for the lost reveals that something is actually wrong with your character. Jesus was on a mission for 3 years and nothing was going to get in the way of him executing the will of the Father in his allotted time for his ministry. If you were in his way, he would say to you as he said to Peter, “get thee behind me, Satan!”

When someone is on a providential mission, they will not orient what they say or do around what pleases others but around the heartfelt message that God, the Father, has placed within them. Jesus got it right every time because he is the Christ, the messiah. Everyone that is being used by God obviously makes mistakes and sins because we are not the Christ, but God blesses us with purpose and destiny through repentance so that we can work with him within the bounds of his Word to execute his will on the earth.

Most Christians would burn up in the heat of the intensity of leaders who have that “man on a mission” energy, so when they encounter these leaders that are cut from a similar cloth as King David in modernity, they are allergic to their effectiveness and intensity. Most Christians have to focus on what these leaders do wrong because their self-righteousness causes them to be envious of those who are authentically chosen to walk a particular and difficult path. To put it plainly, excessive criticism that is aimed at leaders like Donald Trump and even Elon Musk comes from an attitude where those excessively criticizing feel like they could do it better. They feel like they are more qualified and more valid than those who are carrying the flame of freedom from corrupt government.

I am reminded of Mitt Romney’s clearly visible disgust and hatred for Donald Trump. You can tell that he walks around believing that he should have been president over him. He clearly lives his life seething over the fact that someone as undignified and wild as Trump could occupy the consciousness of the American people with non-stop momentum far more than he ever could. His attempts to undermine him and the MAGA movement are the confession of his envy. He thinks that he could do the job better, but if you asked the average conservative voter, I would doubt that they would agree. Romney is a Mormon, but this applies to actual Christians who talk the talk but fail to walk the walk.

If Trump didn’t say things that many people were offended by, he wouldn’t be anywhere near as effective at accomplishing his mission. It’s not that he has to offend. It’s that he will likely offend even when he is doing the right thing because doing the right thing is offensive to the world. There is too much whining and complaining coming out of so-called Christians, and there is not enough action. Everyone has an idea of how things ought to be run, but very few would make the sacrifices to see things set in order; thus, we end up having to rely on a Trump or an Elon Musk instead of Spirit-led Christians who know the identity given to them by God. Many Christians complain about these figures but refuse to take a stand when the pressure rises.

Jesus was loved by the people, and he was hated and killed by the Chief priests and the scribes, the leftovers of the “church” of the old covenant. Both the Pharisees and the Sadducees, the leading denominations in Jesus’ time, plotted to kill the Messiah using the hand of the Roman government. The cost of speaking the truth only allowed Jesus to minister for about 3 years. If you call yourself a Christian and have not paid any sort of price for the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you should be concerned that you may not be walking in the narrow way. If you are not being hated for the message you have preached—ignored by non-believers and shunned by lukewarm Christians—then your message may not be the same as the one Jesus preached.

The world is ruled by the things listed in 1 John 2:16.

¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

But a Christian should be ruled by the things listed in Revelation 12:11.

¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

If you find yourself not at odds with worldly people, if you can listen to the same music and watch the same TV shows and play the same video games and endure the same streams without being disturbed by the content even a little, then you may not be walking in the narrow way. Begin asking yourself if Jesus would watch that same TV show that you watch where you have to fast-forward the naughty scenes to make yourself feel good about watching degeneracy as a Christian. The classic saying of WWJD is a good rule of thumb if you want to walk in holiness, being set apart, to God. If you don’t think Jesus would watch that TV show, then maybe you shouldn’t watch it if you like calling yourself a Christian. If you can’t imagine Jesus sitting down to watch something where he has to fast-forward the naughty or profane scenes in it, then maybe you ought not be watching it. Would Jesus listen to the music that you enjoy? Would Jesus play the video games that you play?

Most people who claim to be Christians have been taught that we should imitate Christ, but few people seem to actually act on that teaching in demonstrable ways.

I could say much more about the topics that I have discussed here, but to put it all together neatly, here is a bullet point list:

• False heroism reigns in our culture but is exposed when something actually heroic happens.

• Heroes do not take “no” for an answer and are driven to accomplish their mission even when they face adverse odds.

• Real heroism for Christians is embodying the leadership aspect of the Faith regardless of the consequences.

• Christians should be the real leaders in our society.

• Because Spirit-led Christians are not taking a stand, we have to depend on leaders outside of that domain to do the right thing.

• These leaders, even though they are babies in the faith or outside the faith altogether, still have an aspect to them, being driven and mission-focused, that actually aligns with Jesus’ vision far better than most church-going Christians.

• Christians ought to be driven and mission-focused, prepared to travel the narrow way, to complete the works that God has for us to accomplish.

• Walking the narrow way means sacrifice and suffering at the hands of the world and its systems while rising up with a redeemed system built upon the rock of the foundation known as Jesus Christ.

Are you walking the narrow way of an imitator of Christ, set apart to God in holiness and sanctification, a mission-driven leader, anointed to do the works of the Kingdom while you walk the earth?

Or are you a Christian that reads the Bible 5 minutes a day, prays 5 minutes a day, attends church for max 2 hours on Sunday, occasionally says a phrases like “praise the Lord” at work so that your co-workers know that you are a Christian, and thinks that these things are enough for you to be seated at the marriage supper of the Lamb at the table with people like the Apostle Paul that gave up his life for the faith, while you refuse to even give up a meal or a day or a 10 minute span of time to talk to someone about Jesus?

What does a heroic Christianity look like?

Maybe it looks like Stephen, a Christian who was known for uncommon miracles that was a table-server who died for his faith for earnestly preaching the Gospel without even being an apostle, prophet, teach, pastor, or evangelist. He was just a common believer in the days of the early church, and he was killed for his faith because his ministry was just that powerful (Acts chapters 6-7). He was a hero and is now present in the great cloud of witnesses hoping and praying that you, a Christian, would rise up to be a hero in your generation as he was in his own.

It’s time for Christians to not just say it but to become the body of Jesus in the earth so that we can accomplish “the greater works” that Jesus preached.

My parents were baptized Pentecostal, so I have never been a stranger to the supernatural nature of our world. I feel as though I have lived a life privileged to have just enough knowledge about what one ought to do when encountering the spiritual realm to overcome certain situations in my life, where, without that knowledge, I would be dead either physically or spiritually or both.

Because so few know what to do in situations where the demonic influences you, many believers in Christ feel as though they have no recourse against supernatural darkness. But God created both the invisible realm and the visible realm and is Lord over them both, “…the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:5 KJV).

For by him were all things created which are in heaven, and which are in earth, things visible and invisible: whether they be Thrones, or Dominions, or Principalities, or Powers, all things were created by him, and for him.

Jesus has overcome the world; therefore, by his name, all believers have overcome world.

⁴ For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

My hope is that you would be encouraged in overcoming these things as I share with you my most supernatural, most miraculous moments of overcoming spiritual darkness, demons and the like. Sometimes, I overcame through how I was trained and raised in being led by Holy Spirit. Other times, I only overcome because of the miraculous nature of God intervening in the situation. This particular situation is the latter.

The Story

My mother and I endured a deep spiritual torment starting the beginning of my eleventh grade year. We were both being tormented by demons in our sleep, but we did not know what the other was enduring until later. In my case, the first 6 weeks of my eleventh grade year, I could not sleep during the week in the slightest. I would lay tossing and turning before having to get up for school, FOR SIX WEEKS I SUFFERED UNNECESSARILY. My mother was also being tormented via “sleep paralysis.” I want you to know that sleep paralysis comes from hell and is not a medical issue. It is demonic torment, and you can overcome through prayer to the one true Living God.

You have to understand that spiritual ailments that afflict you are NOT separate from the physical manifestation. In other words, it doesn’t matter if you can get a medical test showing you the issue in your body and doesn’t matter if you can create a physical treatment plan that makes you better, the visible realm is connected to the invisible realm. Most believers in my sphere refer to the invisible realm as “the spiritual realm” or “the heavenly realms”, so I will use those words interchangeably. A health strategy that pushes back against evil diseases in your body affects your spirit. A spiritual strategy that pushes back against evil attacking you in the invisible realm affects your physical body. I almost always encourage you if you are fighting the manifestation of illness in your body to attack it from BOTH realms, engage in, at least, a two-front war against such things. Then push back also in your mind, the soul-realm, by getting it to submit to the biblical truth. A three-front war is a war that a Christian cannot lose.

⁵ [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),

It is, however, important to know that the visible is preceded by the invisible realm, meaning that the impact in accomplishing a strategy of attack via prayer, prayer in the spirit, worship, fasting, giving, etc. that moves the spiritual side of the battle is often several times more potent than strategies that singularly come out of the physical realm (also know as “the visible realm”). God will give you strategies to attack what has come against your person, your family, your tribe, and your nation that has a component in both realms if you seek him through prayer and fasting. He desires for you to overcome so that your life will be a testimony of his goodness and a rebuke of the plans and strategies of the enemy.

During the six week stint, I suffered great mental, emotional, physical fatigue. I, a “gifted student,” saw my grades plummet and my desire to continue living squeezed out of me. By the end of that period, I would have accepted any dark deal just to be able to sleep during the week. Needless to say, when the enemy of our souls saw that I was desperate, as always, he came with his enticements.

Strangely, one night during the week, I fell asleep. It was not restful sleep but restless, and I engaged in a dream that modeled the current attack on my life by the enemy. It’s difficult to describe because I didn’t really see anything in the dream as much as felt everything, so I shall share what I felt.

I stood at a precipice, a cliff’s edge, and something dark and evil enticed me. If I just walked off the cliff into that deep darkness, I’d finally get the rest that I had been aching for these past several weeks. But it was more than that, for years now, I had also dealt with depression, so this enticement to dive down into the depths of abyssal darkness was deep, forming over years. It was more than the current bout of sleepless nights making me week. It was the mental torment and anguish built up by anxiety and emotional wounding from events that happened in my life. I was at my breaking point, and the enemy of our souls knew it.

I just wanted the torment to end.

All the insecurities of life that kept me in a cycle of hopelessness and depression and the last several weeks of constant sleeplessness and stress. It could all be over if I stepped into the abyss… So I did. I felt my body begin to fall the deepest that I have every been into the dream world, I didn’t know if I would live. I thought that it would be okay if I died. I was just so tired, and my mind told me that if I just allowed myself to hit the bottom then I would get the rest I was desperate for. It was all happening in this dream, but I felt everything.

Then, strangely something from outside the dream laid it’s hand on me. I was dreaming, and I was in a half-awake, half-sleep phase. So I felt it.

No. Literally.

A cold, firm hand grabbed my right arm in the real world, and I felt it while I was falling into the abyss in the dream. Something supernatural was taking place. With a start, I began pulling out from the dream for fear of what had taken hold of my arm. Years prior, I had learned to wake myself up from bad dreams; however, the pull of this dream was fierce, so I cried out the name of Jesus in the dream. Suddenly, my eyes were just open. No transition, just suddenly awake.

It was dark. I was in my bed. And the lingering feeling of a cool hand was still on my arm…yet no one was there. I breathed in and out slowly, and at that moment, I wasn’t afraid. I was aware that something strange and dangerous had just taken place, but I couldn’t grasp exactly which part was unnerving and which part was peaceful. I felt a inexplicable mix of both as I lay there. At first, because the hand scared me, I thought that part was the bad part, the creepy part, but as I have explained this experience with other Christians, they have pointed out that it was probably an angel stopping me from entering into death through the spell of that dream. These days, I agree with the latter.

I was saved from death that came after me in a dream. It was like I had become so depressed that I chose death in the dream and that would have manifested in real life if I hadn’t been stopped by the hand of an angel, which appeared to me as a deathly cold grip. It wasn’t death; it was life, keeping me from sinking down into the grave. Jesus saved me from death by sending an angel to bring me back to consciousness in my time of distress.

The Solution

When I awoke that morning, I got up early with my mother who was a bus driver. Somehow, we began talking, and I brought up what happened to me. My mother mentioned that she was also attacked spiritually that night. It was that experience when you are lying in bed and you feel a demon sit on your chest (or on/in your bed). The simulacra has labeled that experience as “sleep paralysis”, but if you know anything about casting out demons, Christians can stop this experience by rebuking the devil. My mother called on the name of Jesus and wrestled this thing during the night and won. Then, she heard my experience and became more alarmed.

I finally suggested what I had been thinking about for weeks. Often God will give you the solution to the situation your in, but because you are carnal, you will put it aside and let a problem continue for longer than it ought. My parent had taught me that if we buy some oil and ask God to bless it, then we could anoint the doors and windows of the house and rebuke evil spirits and stop them from tormenting us. We had not prayed over our house in a long time, so I finally suggested what I had been thinking about over this entire 6 week period of sleeplessness to my mother which was to pray over the house in that manner. She agreed that was the solution and told me that I should have told her earlier when I had first heard, which, after the fear that I had experienced, I could not disagree with her.

When we came home, we did just that. We prayed over some oil that we had, in this case olive oil, asking the Lord to bless it. We anointed the doors and windows while commanding that all evil spirits, devils/demons leave, and once it was done, we went to bed.

Shortly after that day, I began to sleep through the night again during the week and all was well for a while.
